讲座摘要：Newton, the flagship physics journal from Cell Press, launched in 2024 as the latest addition to the publisher's expanding physical science portfolio. The journal seeks to publish transformative research across the full breadth of physics—from fundamental theory to applied and interdisciplinary fields, including condensed matter physics, optics and photonics, quantum science, biophysics, soft matter, and AI-X. In this talk, I will discuss Newton's editorial vision, its commitment to rigorous peer review and author service, and offer practical insights into navigating the publishing process at Cell Press.

主讲人简介：黄炳钧 (Johnny Wong)，Newton资深科学编辑。先后获香港理工大学应用物理学士、英国约克大学电子学博士，曾任欧盟玛丽居里学者，在荷兰特温特大学和新加坡国立大学研究纳米自旋电子学和二维材料。2024年加入Cell Press担任Newton创刊资深编辑，负责处理凝聚态物理领域的稿件。此前为西北工业大学教授、国家级学位与科研项目评审专家，发表学术论文80余篇。
