讲座摘要:During the talk a modular representation for strange-baryon decays originating from spin-polarized and correlated baryon–antibaryon pairs will be discussed. This framework allows for the straightforward derivation of joint differential distributions in sequential processes involving semi-leptonic, non-leptonic, and electromagnetic decays. The formalism is particularly suitable for extracting semi-leptonic form factors and non-leptonic decay parameters in experiments where strange-baryon–antibaryon pairs are produced in electron–positron annihilation or charmonia decays. As an example, the complete angular distributions in the e+e− → Λ¯Λ process will be presented, focusing on the decays Λ → pe− ¯νe and ¯Λ → ¯pπ+. Additionally, the potential impact of a polarized electron beam in an electron-positron collider will be discussed.
主讲人简介:Dr. Varvara Batozskaya is a researcher at the IHEP (PostDoc fellowship) in Beijing and at the National Centre for Nuclear Research (Assistant Professor) in Warsaw (Poland). She graduated from Irkutsk State University (Russia) and earned her PhD in particle physics in Warsaw while working on the LHCb experiment. During her PhD, she performed the measurement of CP observables in Bs meson decay with electrons in the final state and contributed to alignment studies of the LHCb tracking stations. Currently, she is a member of the BESIII collaboration, participating in multiple analyses of non-leptonic, semi-leptonic, and electromagnetic decays of hyperons produced in electron-positron collisions. She is also engaged in the phenomenological study of charm baryon decays.
