讲座摘要:Dean-Kawasaki equation, as a stochastic partial differential equation, has been an effective stochastic field theoretic framework in non-equilibrium statistical physics to study the dynamics of interacting many-body systems. In this talk, I will start with a review of the Dean-Kawasaki dynamics, compare it with other well-established theories including critical dynamics, fluctuating hydrodynamics, and large deviation based macroscopic fluctuation theory. Then, I discuss our recent works on applying this framework to different problems.
主讲人简介:Bing Miao is a Professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). He obtained his PhD from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. Then he was a posdoc at St. Francis Xavier University, University of Guelph, and Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research since 2006-2011. He joined UCAS since 2011. He has a wide research interests in fluctuation-related physics and mathematics.
