The School of Physics and Electronics, Hunan University
The School has a completed academic system covering bachelor, Master and Ph.D. degrees, and own two key disciplines of Hunan province, the Physics and the Electronics. The School has a key laboratory of Ministry of Education and a key laboratory of Hunan province. The physics ranks top 1% of global list of universities on ESI.

Position:
Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/ Professor in Physics, Electronics and other related disciplines.

General Responsibilities and Requirements:
Conducting full-time teaching and research in the disciplines of Physics, Electronics, Optics, Integrated Circuits, Nanoelectronics, Nanophotonics,Optoelectronics, and other related disciplines.
A PhD degree from an internationally renowned university.
Research experience with outstanding academic achievements will be given special considerations.
Fluent in English communication and technical writing, applications of non-Chinese origin is encouraged to have basic Chinese communication skills.
Specific Requirements:
Applicants for assistant professor should have had at least 3 papers published on SCI journals as the first author, at least one-year experience of overseas studying or research and under 35 years old.
Applicants for associate professor should have had at least 5 papers published on SCI journals as the first author, including 1 paper published on the top journal of the discipline, at least one year experience of overseas studying or research and under 35 years old.
Applicants for professor should have had at least 10 papers published on SCI journals as first or corresponding author, including 3 papers published on the top journal of the disciplines, at least three-year experience of overseas research and under 40 years old.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual salary RMB 90,000 ~170,000, depending on the position. Specific treatments for outstanding applicants are to be negotiated in person.
Settlement allowance RMB 200,000 for professors and RMB 140,000 for associate professors and assistant professors, paid in monthly within five years.
Monthly accommodation rental subsidy within 2 years, RMB 400 for unmarried and RMB 600 for married. RMB 800 for professors
Start-up research fund RMB 100,000 for professors.
Youth Scholars funding available for assistant professor and associated professor under 40 years old, with a lump-sum research grant of RMB 200,000 or 250,000, depending on discipline, annual payment in five years.
